I am a driven and motivated professional who loves giving to others. As a young 15-year-old teenage mother with little support, I was forced to grow up quickly. I was determined that poverty and lack would not be how the story ended for me and my son. I soon learned how to let go of false perceptions and work to be true to who I was created to be. Understanding that in order to change my circumstances I had to make some drastic changes along with major sacrifices. Finally, I began to see the breaking of a new day. As I consistently worked and saved my money, I was able to acquire housing and begin on the road to financial independence.

While the journey was very difficult at times, I was willing to endure the challenging process of becoming me. I soon learned that deliberately surrounding myself with positive influences helped me to change my negative mindset. As a result, I began to actually believe that I could achieve anything I desired. In 2014 I founded and launched Daughters of Divine Destiny (DDD) a nonprofit organization created to motive and empower girls. Using my own life experiences as a roadmap, I aspire to be the voice of personal empowerment for those searching for inspiration and self-awareness. Through my unique combination of passion, care, and leadership, I desire to help women achieve their dreams and increase their knowledge in financial literacy.

Today, as a college graduate I hold both a Bachelors and Masters from Capella University in Finance. I am a wife and mother of three (3) growing young men (ages 15 to 21). I am currently a financial professional for a major retail property management company in Chicago. When I am not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and sons, sewing, crafting and serving at the Lively Stone Church.
