As we take the journey with 12 of the 52 Women of the Bible, we will dive into the prominent and not so prominent women, providing a fresh perspective on the story of salvation. The cast of women that will be discussed includes a parade of prostitutes, evil queens, prophetesses, wealthy women, abused women, single and married women, and widows young and old, which we as women currently encounter in this current day. Far from being one-dimensional women, the 12 women that we will look  into  are real women who struggle with tragedy and sometimes create it. Women who risk their lives and their reputations for the sake of others, whose compassion and wisdom often save the day. Even though our culture is vastly different from theirs, we share many of their emotional responses and concerns in our present time. We agonize over infertility, worry about our children, long for a little affection, strive for wisdom, and sometimes harbor doubt about God’s real intentions toward us. Their stories reveal so much about God’s grace, his relentless love, and his creative ability to bring good out of the most desperate circumstances.”
